Who we are
The Golden West Region, being the largest scouting region in nsw by area, reaches members from Lithgow all the way out to Broken Hill. Check out our region and the groups and campsites it encompasses here at https://tgwscouts.org.au/
TGW Rovers are always looking forward to gathering for every journey to experience great adventures, connect with one another and have a whole lot of fun. From participating in state wide scouting events to regular meetings, outdoor activities and their courses to community gatherings, TGW Rovers look for every opportunity to have great experiences, but also give back to the community. By uniting as a team, and further working with our local scout groups, our Rover Unit actively seeks community events from a local to a state level; lending a hand and&making a better world.
Why should you join?
As a Rover unit, we welcome anyone ages 18 to 25 years of age to take part in our program, to make many memories and learn skills for life. You don’t need to have any Scouting experience, but a keen sense of adventure will help you keep up with some adventurous people and their adrenalin-packed challenges! TGW Rover Scouts - like other Rover units in NSW:
- Adventure beyond the horizon
